Wrocławska Fundacja Filmowa we współpracy z Kinem Nowe Horyzonty zapraszają na cykl spotkań z najciekawszymi dziełami polskiego kina, skierowany przede wszystkim do obcokrajowców. Wszystkie filmy wyświetlane są z angielskimi napisami, poprzedzone prelekcją eksperta ze świata filmu, wprowadzającą w tematykę i kontekst społeczno-historyczny prezentowanego dzieła i zakończone dyskusją. Całość odbywa się w języku angielskim.
Wrocławska Fundacja Filmowa and Kino Nowe Horyzonty invites to a selection of encounters with the most interesting works of Polish cinema, designed primarily for foreigners. All films are shown with English subtitles and are introduced with a lecture by a film expert who will present the theme and the socio-historical context of each film. The screening will be followed with a discussion. Everything is held in English.

Oscar nominated war drama by Agnieszka Holland. The film is based on the true story of a group of Jewish refugees, who after escaping a ghetto in Lvov, for months hid in the sewers, that stretch out under the whole city. With help comes Leopold Socha – sewer worker, petty thief and a chancer, who at first sees the Jewish people, who avoided the massacre as an opportunity to make easy money. No one would expect that when the right moment comes he will take any risk to protect them.
