Revival

Czech comedy Revival had our southern neighbours laughing all the way through summer, and now the film is being screened in Polish cinemas.

Directed by Alice Nellis, the movie tells the story of four old mates, who forty years after playing together in a rock band that had relative success in the 70's, opt to reuinite and start playing gigs again. Initially considered as a scam conjured up to save one of the members from financial ruin, the band's comeback reaches unexpected heights, allowing the quartet to relive past glories.

Simindis kundzuli

Simindis kundzuli, a truly unique Georgian picture, premiered at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival last year. The film documents the lives of a peasant man and his granddaughter, who together single handedly manage the land on a tiny Island that lies in the middle of a river.
